Kittens

When kittens are born they have blue eyes. They have sharp claws and paws.

Kittens live in houses and gardens too.

At four weeks old they start to play. When kittens are born they can’t see. They play with other kittens too. They lick their fur to clean their fur. When they are born they try to balance on their tails. Their tail helps them to balance.

People can pat kittens and sometimes they go to sleep.

The Elgregoe Show

We enjoyed the Elgregoe show on Friday at school.

On Friday Room 15 went to see the Elgrego show in the hall. At the start he pulled out a giant stick it was so big . Later he pulled birds out of stuff. There was a green one, blue one and a white one with a red one. I liked the blue and also the red one, they were so colourful. By Ylzan

I like it when he pulled a white bird out of a box. After that he showed us the pot that never stopped pouring. When he was talking it kept filling up with water. He made a box disappear. My favourite bit was when he got the massive wand. By Austin

I like Elgrego because he got a picture and it came alive. There were four cages with 4 coloured birds. When Elgrego got the big bird out he gave him some bananas. My favourite bit was when the water kept pouring out of the jug. By Kayin.

On Friday Elgrego did some tricks. He pulled a 10 feet pole out of a small bag. He kept pulling birds out of things. He put Sue in a box he pushed it down and Sue disappeared. By Tyler

Elgrego is a magicicn he pulled out birds like the rainbow bird, it likes bananas. He really a magic person. Then Ethan had to come on the stage. Elgrego did the magic for him. Paige got a drink bottle and it was fun.

liked it when Elgrego came because he made the birds appear. Four birds appeared there was a blue bird a red bird a white bird and a rainbow bird. I liked it because it was fun to see the show it was my favourite. By Sally

Elgrego the magic man came to Hampstead School the first thing he did was pull a bird out of a painting it was cool .He made lots of cages appear from a big dice. He put the birds in them. My favourite part was when he took out a 10 feet pole. By Tyson

The Cross Country

It was muddy and it was very hard because we had to jump over the benches. It was hard for me because I nearly fell over. When I got to the finish line it was even more muddy and my shoes fell off but then I put my shoes back on and kept on running. By Manaia.

I liked it when I won the cross country and when I fell over. It was a sunny day but the ground was muddy . Mum, Olivia and pop watched. We ran around the field over hay bales and over seats and over tyres. It was fun. By Riley

Last Thursday it was cross country. Mrs Davies videoed room 15.My favourite part was when we started the race. I had to run over the hay bales and over the lunch chair. Also we had to go around the trees it was super fun. By Mounga

On Friday it was a good day we did cross country. Miss Davies was moving the video camera and it showed mine and Emma’s parents. Riley slipped over but in the video it wasn’t there. It wasn’t there. I almost came last but I didn’t. Most of the class beat the other class that we were racing and they were big kids. We went over hay bales and benches and we went through tyres. It was very fun. It was a fun cross country and Miss Dobbin made the noise when we ran with room 8. We ran FAST ! I can run fast. We went to the hay bales and we got to the end of the run. By Vernal.

Every one lined up. The grass was muddy and green. Everybody was off! . Over the seats and hay bales. The two people were finishing but Riley won. It was fun. By Danielle

In the cross country we had to line up. Then we were running

against big Kids. Then we went and we had to go over the benches

and over the hay bales. After that I had to go over the dirt hill

then through the car tyres. I was 3^rd it was fun. At the end I was

really puffed.

Fire Fighters Visit

The fire fighter visit was cool because they let the class go in the truck .It was fun. It was funny when they took the two teddies out of the room. The school loved it and the hose is big too. By Lacey

I like the firefighters because they pretended that it was

real smoke but it wasn’t it was pretend. It was fun because they saved the teddy when they walked in side room 10. They put on the lights of the engine and came into the school.
